Uber and Lyft are smartphone apps that

allow you to hail  "part time drivers".  Some of these drivers do not actually get a legal permit to run a taxi (Oh the horror!!!)...  No central dispatch - phone gives your location - nearest Uber guy/gal gets the call and picks you up.  I have known people who have used them and they were much more satisfied than calling a "normal" cab.    

Your fare is paid through the smart phone which means you don't need cash - no trying to get a cabbie to take a benji at 10 PM and give you change....  BUT Probably not a great idea in your line of work - for all numbers of obvious reasons when you start thinking it through.  So - you did get a serious answer - just not a very good one in my opinion.  

You might want to think about consulting the Provider Only Board.  On this board, that question is like throwing out fresh meat.  I can only imagine some of the really troll like PMs you have been getting - which might account for some of your following posts..
