San Antonio newbie here with a question on region-confused_smile

I'm a fairly new provider, but well reviewed (on another site) in my few months in the business. I'd like to use TER, but there's no "San Antonio" or "Texas" option for me to post ads or my site in, and the "other" cities seems too inclusive for easy searching. Do providers in cities not directly listed find this site worth using? I came here to look up a TER handle given to me by a potential client, but I can't even seem to do a search for him, since San Antonio is not listed.
Any comments or suggestions?

San Antonio, one of my many home towns (Dad was in the Army, and was stationed at Fort Sam 3 different times by the end of 1st Grade).

Yes, TER doesn't have a San Antonio board.  It was only a few months ago that the Texas board was divided into separate Dallas and Houston boards.  Seeing how the Houston board has progressed, and that several visiting ladies to the Alamo City post there, I think the Houston board is your best bet.

Just because San Antonio doesn't have a board, doesn't mean TER can't work for you.  Do a review search leaving the city blank and entering either San Antonio as the location, or 210 as the area code.  San Antonio gals can do well here on TER!

Thanks, Jazz! I'm an army brat too, born at Fort Sam!
I can't seem to use all the features until I"m a VIP member, either with reviews or by paying. I know when I was new on ASPD I offered specials for frequent reviewers, so I'd like to do that here to help build my 'cred'. So I'll peruse the Houston boards, see how posting an ad there might help...
thanks again for the warm welcome!

Rachael, I think you mean discounts to guys with lots of reviews, right? Personally, I don't think you have to do that - it will be interpreted by many as you "paying" for good reviews.

You want to be careful about linking reviews and discounts.  That will hurt your cred. You will find that the TER community, with a few exceptions, is quite different from the other boards you have been on.

The best way to build your TER business is to get a good website going ASAP, with professional pics.  Pay for a VIP membership so you can read the Juicy Details section of the reviews for the guys who contact you, PM other providers for advice and counsel, contact the moderator of your "local" board when necessary (fake reviews, etc), and more.

TER isn't perfect but it is by far the best resource available to you to build a quality clientel.

Oh, and one more thing, don't underprice yourself to "get your foot in the door". That will cost you money in the long run, and will not help you attract the kind of quality clientel that you presumably want to build your business around.

Get that website going so we can have a look-see ;-)

How can a guy who has had 27 wives and over 65 kids possibly need/afford to hobby?!?

I've found a couple of Rachael's ads on other sites, and they aren't what you suggest.   Of course she may want to post a discount for guys for who see her on TER!  Just a thought.
