I find nore timewasters and headgamers than anything else, however, also had two very lovely clients contact me through Yahoo Messenger, so am reluctant to turn it off.  I just have to make faster decisions about who to block.  I do use a contact form, but most ignore it and just email me.  Thank you, and the others who replied, for the advice and best wishes.

This newbie is finally registered as a provider with TER.  Check the "New Sites" listing if you wanna see.  Would certainly appreciate a (hopefully) positive site rating, and if someone wants TTOFTT and visit/review me, I would be grateful, and he would not be disappointed.

Perhaps someone experienced can give me their take on the following:  After successful screening and a LONG drive to a restaurant near his hotel, I was stood up by a man who then wouldn't return my messages and has never bothered to let me know why; booked by another who spent a lot of time chatting on Yahoo with me and begged for a last-minute evening date, but all the references were false and the contact numbers fake; asked to come to addresses that don't exist; told by some men that they want to see me only AFTER I send them photos of certain parts of my body, like my feet in stockings, which I did once and never heard from the guy again.  (No doubt all he wanted was a visual aid for his "jolly time.")  WHY do people feel the need to play these games?  I am clueless.  I would never get a kick out of wasting someone's time like this on a headtrip.

Because some people are plain, sorry losers.  It happens to all of us..thats why I have my Yahoo messenger turned off..because it proved useless...I always  got guys that JUST wanted to chat and exchange porn and pics of their hardons..LOL

It's true.  I turned off my messenger precisely because of the chatters.  I don't send pics because of pic collectors.  As for the others; screening to find the fakes saves you alot of time and other tragedies.  Plus, I don't think some men see our time as valuable.  They think we have nothing better to do but wait for their emails or chat aimlessly.  I don't know I could be wrong.

But, in this business at least, there are negatives as well. The time wasters and picture collectors obviously wouldn't exist if business were still conducted solely by the phone and in ads in the back pages of local free newspapers. Unfortunately, along with the
ability to reach more customers via the internet comes the ability for guys who are not and probably never will be customers to do stupid things.
I think the whole concept of internet chat is a bad idea for providers. I think it's unfortunate but some guys do not see a lady's time as valuable. The burden falls on the provider to sharpen her BS radar and try to nip the time wasters in the bud.

All hobbyists are not like the guys you speak of.  If the guys references don't check, ignore him.  Do you use a contact form on your web site?  I know some guys don't like to use them, but it may save you some frustration.  Good luck!
