Former Solicitor General Ted Olson was hired by Citizens United to get emails. ...

a lifetime Dem, who recently said he would consider leaving the press to work for Hills campaign for he admired her so much, wants her to answer NINETEEN more questions about her emails, you know this scandal is a serious and existential threat to her candidacy.

And who the fk is advising her? On Monday she says she wont apologize for how she handled the matter and that lasted all of 24 hours when she broke down and literally cried on TV yesterday and felt forced to apologize. Wtf?

Hills, a little advice, babe:

Do what McCain did when the NY Slimes put on the front page that he cheated on his wife.

Call a press conference, answer ALL the questions this time, for as LONG as it takes and wait at the podium for 60 seconds AFTER the last question is asked to make sure the press is done.

If you are unable to do that for fear of being indicted or fear you cant keep all your lies straight, just save us all a bunch of trouble and have the balls to step down.

That approach HAS to be better than the death by a million cuts we are witnessing each and every day.

Sheez...

And my perception has always been he is a Dem, but as to you specifically questioning my use of the term i"life long" Dem, no, I can't stick with that characterization.

I should have just said he is a current Dem as I think his statement re:Hills would be proof enough of that.

I don't know his political leanings his entire life, so point taken BP.

...I've seen him on enough shows to know that he is truly "fair and balanced."  He criticizes Dems and Repubs equally.  Even in your OP, he said he liked her but he still is holding her feet to the fire re: the emails.

Here's his full quote:

"...I'm a swing voter, an Independent voter. I've known and respected her for a long time. A year ago, if you had asked me, hey, would you consider working for Secretary Clinton, I'd say, yes, I'd think about it.

Six months ago, if you had said, hey, would you vote for her, I'd say, yes, I'm likely going to vote for her. Now I can't tell you that I trust her..."
