I just needed to vent
Realizing I will have some time to "play" this coming Thursday I started planning this past Saturday (never too early, huh!!) Seeing an Atlanta staple had posted an ad here on the Atlanta board stating that she would be available, and she being someone that has been on my wish list I figured I'd start the (usually) painless process of screening. Per her preference on her ad and website I e-mailed her from my work address (the one I always use) and included my TER handle (white listed, btw) as well as three longtime Atlanta references and my "hobby" phone number. She promptly asked that I PM her via TER, which I did. Shortly after she e-mailed me that she received my TER message and actually stated that she was available that day (I wasn't)
Less than an hour later I got an e-mail stating "You are screened". I replied that I would text or e-mail (her preference) Monday or Tuesday (today) to arrange the exact time for Thursday. Again, an immediate e-mail response telling me to text and giving the telephone #. This all transpired within 2 hours on Saturday
So Monday afternoon I received a text from her stating she was having trouble verifying me (huh!?!?!) and did I have a different # I used. I again gave her my "hobby" # and e-mail that I've been using for over a decade as well as three different providers. I also reminded her of the e-mail exchange we had on Saturday, the last of which her telling me I was verified!!!
Late last night she e-mailed me "Apologies. ..I am not able to screen you. So I do not feel comfortable meeting you"
I would NEVER do something to make ANYONE uncomfortable, so I have dropped the matter

Sounds like you got bump for a regular or multi hour date and that was the reason she gave you. To go from "verified" and ready to meet that day to "not"

She didn't say "no" the day of. She said Yes Saturday,, NO Monday for a requested Thursday meet, and even at that there was no definite time planned. So no, I wasn't bumped for a regular or longer date.
