Well, unless you have a private jet the Atlanta airport is Hartsfield/ Jackson airport (the worlds busiest airport, btw). All the major airlines fly into/ out of. US domestic as well as international.

As far as where to stay,,,, midtown and/ or the Buckhead area attracts a lot of tourists, but is at times tough to get into/ out of for a hobbiest looking for a quick interlude, so many prefer just north of the city. Some of Atlanta's finest providers utilize some upscale hotels in that area so I'll defer to them for that recommendation

providing that there are people who want to see me, i want to take a trip to atlanta but not sure where i should fly into and where i should stay.  any recommendations?

While I know nothing about her, her ads seem to be centered in So. Cal.  Atlanta is the busiest, but in LA you have your choice of at least 3 major commercial airports to fly in and out of depending on which side of the LA area you are going to be on.  LAX, John Wayne and Burbank, or whatever it's called now.  I think she may have been assuming Atlanta was laid out in a similar fashion.
