Of course you can have a beer at 9 AM. lol

and I too was up (8 AM my time) and watching in time for the two national anthems, and while the UK's singer was definitely more attractive, our admittedly not "doable" at all singer did a great job in actually singing the Star Spangled Banner. I don't watch football to ogle the singers, that what cheerleaders are for.

What should concern Falcons fans even more was giving up 22 unanswered points against a Detroit team missing it's three biggest weapons. What a 2nd half collapse, fortunately for me at least, I made a half time Lions bet only -3 1/2 parlayed with the over 22, that part of the bet being a push.

It is odd watching football in the morning. I am still drinking my coffee. You can't really have a beer at 9 am.

America got shafted in the singing of the National Anthem. America got an poorly dress lady with really bad hair. While the UK got a very pretty lady in a white dress to sing their's. The lady who sung the UK's anthem can make me dinner any day she wants.

or scraping paint off the barn than watch that joke of a game .

Blank needs to pull his head out and send Dimitroff and Smith packing ASAP !

I do have money on New England to beat Da' Bears. I have some other bets going on too. I might start posting my football bets on TER. So other hobbyists can join in with their bets. It will be fun to see who is right. It is too late to that today.

I will post my bets on Saturday at 12 a.m. I will do this if there is any interest.

WCMan

I am sure GaGambler will play.  Falcons I think the 3.5 would have made you a winner. Pats did roll.cheers.

I like the idea...Always a good idea to get others opinions on plays.  I'm actually on Washington +10 tomorrow.  As long as the Redskins can keep the turnovers in check, I think they will be able to cover the generous 10 points.

TER move my post regarding the NFL bets. I am having some difficulty in getting people to understand that this is all for fun on TER. TER isn't a betting site. There are several betting sites in which people can make their wager.

In my weekly post. I will post the date and the team. I will add my bet against the spread and the final score.

If you visit or have lived on the Left Coast, you know that Football starts with pre-game at 9 AM and the East Coast games are on at 10 AM. There's more than one reason that "them Libs" don't attend Church like the South does.

If you're a fan of English Premiere League, you're accustomed to a 9 AM start.

Formula 1, MotoGP... heck you can be up at 2 AM to watch a race in Japan or Australia. Thank God for Twitter blackouts and DVRs.

As far as "Dang Fereners Singin' the American Anthem" (I hear it often from my kinfolk), you'll be hard pressed to find someone better than Mark Donnelly of the Vancouver Canucks or Lyndon Slewidge of the Ottawa Senators sing our song.

A Youtube of Slewidge is below. Enjoy!

I was there a few years ago during football season and the first games on Saturday started at 6AM local time, still plenty late enough to have a cold one, or ten. lol

I had a friend of mine who owned a Sports Bar in Marietta, he was even a bigger gambling degenerate than me and he used to watch (and bet of course) Asian soccer that came on at about 3AM right about the time he got home from work. lol

but the one before that played in South Africa. I watched much of that one while in Venezuela and the bars were packed by 6 AM.
