I've got the perfect ticket for 2016,

How about a Kasich/Webb, or a Webb/Kasich ticket???

Now that is a Bi Partisan bill I bet you a LOT of us could get behind.

Too bad it's just wishful thinking, but that's a ticket I could not only vote for, but I would write a check to support it as well, something I NEVER do in Presidential elections. I can usually barely tolerate the candidate I vote for, and only vote for that person as the lesser of evils, and even (or especially) in hindsight, I can't imagine writing a check to any of the people who have had a legitimate run at the White House in my adult life.

Every election in my life I've heard there is no one to vote for or I vote for the lesser of 2 evils. They could dig up George Washington and Abe Lincoln and people would bitch. The perfect candidate is me. I agree with myself 100 percent on every issue but I'm not running. So I vote for the candidate that is closest to my ideology.

But at this point, any ticket that doesn't have Bush, Clinton, Trump or Bernie on it will at least get my consideration. LOL

It would be amazing though if those two, Kasich and Webb, after losing the nomination, ran third party together.

Take the best ideas of both ideologies and run a sensible platform that includes tax reform, entitlement reform, gets away from the social issues as front and center, actively deals in bipartisan fashion to address all the issues hampering job growth and wage stagnation, keep the good things from Ocare, rid the bad, add things to control costs, rid ourselves of lobbyists and crony capitalism, reduce the debt, end corporate welfare, end loop holes for the rich, etc etc etc

Tough choices to be sure, and there would be disagreement which is good for any democracy but the only kinda ticket that could get it done would be like the one you suggest.

In other words, do what is best for AMERICA first and fk the special interests.

Of course this has no chance. It makes sense! Lol

except I'd go with a Webb/Kasich ticket. Going with Webb on top of the ticket to avoid a clean sweep of Republicans in the White House, and both houses in Congress. Otherwise those social issues and corporate welfare Jack wants to sideline, as I do, may very well dominate the Republican agenda.

and for the record, I agree with it.

The last thing I want is EITHER party controlling both the executive and legislative branches of government.

don't think I could ever vote for any Republican for President, but if the choice was between Hillary and Kasich, I'd go with Kasich. At least the guy seems like he's bright, has enough self-esteem to be humble, is reasonable, and doesn't seem like a total shit head. Pretty rare for the Republican party these days. He seems like he's somewhere along the lines of an Eisenhower/Nixon type Republican. You know, how Republicans used to be before they all became crazy ass reactionaries thumping bibles like lunatics
