I started the process about a week before my proposed date. I was contacted after about 2 days and was told everything was good to go. It has been smoothe sailing ever since.
Not all providers that claim to be newbie friendly are.
For me Gold Club was a complete shutout as a newbie.

I have been wanting to meet with a provider for a while but I have always been hesitant. I decided to give it a try and contacted a newbie friendly provider. After giving the provider the information she requested for screening, how long does a provider take to respond? Will they respond and let me know that I have been declined? Or if I do not get a reply should I just assume I have been declined. It seems like this is going to be tough since I don't have any of my information on the website of the company I work.
Also I have only contacted one provider, are there any other newbie friendly providers that anyone would recommend contacting?

Some providers take longer to screen than others. It really depends on how busy they are and how easy you are to look up. Sending linkedin profiles speeds up the process in my experience!

You might be notified if declined because your "outside" of a providers preferences (if any exist) or she can't find enough info on you to verify.
BUT if anything raises a RED FLAG (black listings, LE, others) you won't ever hear a word to my knowledge.
