I have argued the Liberal Progressive position with the right wingers in this forum going back to 2002. I believe George W Bush was a buffoon and a puppet, and Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld were the architects of a most horrific series of war crimes and war profiteering and both should be on trial at the ICC.
And I think Jon Stewart has more integrity than most "legitimate journalists" and would make THE best choice to replace Bob Shieffer or host Meet the Press.
BUT I am a pro-Israel Jew who is not afraid to speak his mind and for that I am judged and labeled a right wing GOP Fox News Republican complete with loathing and contempt that seems to accompany comments that would NOT have been tolerated in here just a few years ago and labeled as hate speech. And now I've been labeled an Orthodox religious nut by Osama bin Fungus.
Now you tell me something... how can I NOT interpret the odious behavior and bigotry directed at me by certain individuals as being rooted deeper than mere political difference? Think about that.
