Its terrible and I hope those poor people who were injured recover fully. Thankfully no one died!
Makes me glad I havent been doing any extracurricular activities in the City. I think I will stick to Long Island for a while to come. Imagine explaining to the wife why I or my car were blown up in Manahattan on my day off when I have no reason to be there.
This can happen anywhere.. jersey had a explosion yesterday morning, Minnesota had a stabbing, DC had shootings, anywhere can be affected which is why Mya is saying to be safe and keep your eyes open. Long Island is not so sweet either (they have a bunch of problems just like any other cities

Yes, it can happen anywhere, but its easier to explain why I am 5 miles from my house than 50. Not to mention, with a smaller population density it is harder to target individual areas making it less likely that I (or any of my lady friends) would be involved. Its not like we are going to a gathering like a charity run or concert or sports event! So even though yes, it can happen anywhere, I have obviously thought this through more than you!
A frozen turkey tossed off a bridge and crashing through the windshield of my car while I am doing 60. Long Island. Look it up. Easy to find. No, this did not happen to me but it could have.

The turkey thing was just stupid kids, that was random, not targeted. Shit like that is definitely just bad luck.
