So, apparently I share the same first and last name with a public official who took office in the last few years. His name commonly appears in the papers. I wasn't aware of this until a few months ago when a provider was screening me and told me she wouldn't see me because she googled my name and "got freaked out". I attempted to assure her through other means that he and I were different people but she still refused to meet me.
A similar incident happened again more recently. I'm just curious, has something like this happened to anyone else?But I had a friend that I tried to get a job in my company. Turned out he had the exact same name as a senior Union Official in the Local which had just finished negotiating a new contract with our firm. Management didnt loke that individual's aggressive negotiational style and when my friend applied, they thought it was the Union guy and simply never called him back. When I asked my boss why they never called my friend he realized their mistake, but the position had been filled already. It worked out OK because my friend ended up getting a better job.
This story has nothing to do with escorts, but the name snafu thing is similar.
