...to Trump's criticism that he doesn't belong on the debate stage because he doesn't have the brainpower. He used the power of his brain to say: "Let's get a pull-up bar out here and see who can do more pull-ups." Yeah, that'll show Trump who's smarter! There must've been a lot of "brainpower" Republicans in the audience because they laughed and applauded Perry's answer.

Rick Perry is a very good example of the "style over substance" approach taken by most campaigns today.
Especially when it comes to Good Ole' Boy politicians from Texas...

Let's face it, Rick Perry has a better chance of being convicted that he does of gaining the GOP nomination for ANYTHING.
Perry has no style or substance.
I will be so happy when he finally fades into the wood work and quits embarrassing the State of Texas. I would even cheer if our fake lawyer by some miracle ended up being right and Perry did end up in prison. There isn't a snowballs chance in hell that it will happen, but I will be rooting for that outcome nonetheless. After all Mari has been wrong about so many things in the past, the odds favor him being right about "something" eventually.
I know EXACTLY what he answer would have been. NOTHING!!!
At least we expect the dems to open the borders, tax and spend, etc etc. The GOP sold the country a bill of goods in 2014, and just like the Dems, should be running FROM their record, not running on it.
As for Perry, maybe this is the best thing that could happen to him, after all the only thing keeping his campaign barely alive is Trump, Without Perry being able to say "Trump Sucks" what else does he really have?
