She tried hard to please me, but external conditions really took me out of the game.
I was asked how I would review her, my thoughts were either a 7 because she tried but the environment made the session poor.. Although, I can rationalize a no review, just as easily. The environmental event was that significant.
I was asked to not "hurt" the lady with a "bad" review. This made me wonder, what is a bad review?
Is a 7 harmful?
If you read the review, and it's clear the lady did everything possible to please, but something else just prevented any form of happy ending would that negatively influence you?
Do hobby members really just look at numbers and due to grade inflation down check anyone with a seven?
Is any single review really that much of an influence to a lady's potential?
Curious on your thoughts. I am probably going to no review this event. I plan to see lady again and group has always treated me right, so I trust everything will work out. But the conversation was intriguing.

First 7 is technically not really a real bad rating .. but obviously not great. You are right in that if I were to read the review and you mentioned that the rating was bad because of issues out of her control (either natural or agency or just chance) but she was good, I'd mentally bump her up a couple of notches, assuming the issue would not impact my session (or check when making a booking)
Where it does hurt, is if she has relatively few reviews, it would drop her average. When looking for a new provider, I typically do a search based on the averages to do my first line of screening. So she may drop off the raider (for some time) for folks like me.
I could bang the hottest broad in the world Jenna Haze, but if it's in a fucked up atmosphere, for example I hate anything smoke related...... so If we're in a room full of smoke that's going to affect her score.
Now if it's the agencies fault then you shouldn't take it out on the gal, however I would mention in the review that the conditions were horrible.
you're writing the review so however you choose to score her would be acceptable to me, and I think you should review as a 7 would still be a good score.

A few years ago not so much. But if the session was not up to your standards you still need to review her if you ask me. I really look at the words more than the score- so if a lady has great reviews but a low score shows up will not impact me at all.We all have bad days or something weird happens out of the norm. If I could not clearly determine one of the above situations, I would not review. Especially if she has a few reviews, some recent (3-4 months) and my rating would be significantly different from others or others did not mention the same/similar environmental issue.
Hard to call it, not knowing what the "environmental factor" was!

Environmental factors, Environmental event, Environment.... all are vague.
If I'm reviewing a restaurant, movie theater, or doctor's office, the environment matters to my review. Did the place of business have roaches, dirty carpets, neighbors fighting, smelled of cat litter, a backed up toilet, or was it clean, no clutter, quiet, smelled of fresh linen or vanilla, and the toilet shined like a mirror?
Negative or positive, Environment Matters.
If the Environment was enough to warrant a 7 instead of an 8 or 9, say so in your review. You've got enough credit at this point that I'd take it into account in deciding when or if I decide to see that particular lady.
Numbers aren't everything. They're a start.

Part of a back to back evening I was planning on. I want to try a true 2fer, (2ladies, 2hours) and wanted to experiment with something else. The lead session was the new play partner and the experiment. Hoping she would be someone to gel with, I would discuss with my second date that night and see if the 2fer made sense (former partner not available anymore so we are looking).
The second session that nite was amazing, so I can rule out my own inability.
Best idea so far is wait for second session without the experimental element that created the environmental issue for me. I think I could write totally fair review that clearly outlined conditions but too many people don't spend time, so I will wait and try a normal session only.
