I'm going to trust you about 90%. And try to give OP some slightly positive 10% spin.  
   
 First, he did say, "looking for a youthful Asian or latina for an in call" and did not specifically include (or exclude) white.  So one possibility is that his thoughts were wandering towards one or another cute Asian or Latina that he was thinking about or seen on-line and that he was not deliberately EXCLUDING white and black. "Today, I think I'd to try something Asian or Latina."  
   
 If someone suggested a dark skinned Latina, he might have said, "Wow! Not what I had in mind (because he hadn't experienced or seen many  before) but she's good looking with great reviews. I'm in!" Or someone might have suggested a NON-Asian, NON-Latina (white, black, native American, Euro-Indian, ...) and OP would say the same thing, "Not what I originally had in mind, but ..."  Innocent by passive exclusion.  
   
 But, you're right, it could be a case of "Non-Asian, Non Light-skinned Latina Need Apply." Guilty by implied exclusion.
