I m not a fan of committing someone or imprisioning them for life. It's just a drain on society. Use the money we d save to put people through college.
Crazy, idk really he told his phychiatrist about the thoughts he was having ahead of time. He knew they were wrong or bad I think so technically he might not have been legally insane. I didn't pay enough attention to the trail to know for sure but if all 12 jury member thought he was sane and sentence him to death I won't second guess it.

Fine by me if they want to snuff him but let's be honest, he was in another star system when he went berserk. Don't deny it, just say we want to blot out any creature that went that far even if he can be medicated to a semblance of rationality. Admit that part of justice is revenge, part of justice is just pushing away something ugly. Geez that sounds raw, can't believe I wrote it. What will the bible thumpers say, does Jesus want this guy dead on a cold steel gurney?

He booby traps his apartment so anyone who may enter cause an explosion and die.    He puts on camo body armor so no one can recognize him.   He decides to go through a back entrance of the theater so he will not be caught and stopped if he had tried the main entrance and the lobby.   He was armed to the teeth to cause as many deaths are he could.    He had it all planned, knew what he wanted to and charted out how to inside unnoticed.

I congratulate the jury for the quick justice meted out and when you reconvene for the sentencing, I am sure they will decide to fry this scum.

This evil of a human being deserves to bring on the firing squad and give him a taste of his own

It's ridiculous for people to take their aggression out on others.

Can anyone imagine a scenario that you would EVER want to see this monster released into society again? Can anyone truly guarantee that if we don't "put him down" that somehow someway he "might" find a way to kill again?

Fry his ass, and do it now.

Even the criminally insane should be executed for committing murder. The end result is still the same, people shouldn't be held any less accountable because they have a psychological deficiency.

Not to mention an insane murderer will never be able to contribute to society. I get tired of hearing about people who make mistakes, but "could" contribute to society at a latter date. No one person is that great a individual. Especially f they couldn't get it right the first time, no more second chances.
