A very popular SD/SB arrangement website just suspended my account today. Said I triggered a terms of use investigation. WTH? Has anyone encountered this? Can't imagine that another user would report me. Never anything but a gentleman, even stating in profile and messages that I desire only dinner companionship and sightseeing while visiting. One POT today did message me that she preferred PPM arrangements. So I responded that I would be interested and asked if sh had suggested donation for her time. There was no discussion of where we would meet or what we might do. Does anyone have experience with this? Also. Let's just say the site might be extra cautious today due to some very recent bad publicity. Anyone else been shut down today?
The use of the word "donation" may have been the trip wire. Always use "allowance" as opposed to donation with is synonymous with mongering. If that was the case and you were reported for soliciting a prostitute, that may had done you in. I personally think that is too trivial and it's just semantics but then again I always frame my approach in this manner:
"I am seeking a mutually beneficial companionship scenario with 2-3 dates in mind per month, on an ongoing and longer term basis, based on mutual attraction and in person chemistry. If we find such compatibility, I would be willing to discuss allowance when we meet over a lunch date".
Never got me into any trouble framing it as such and I just checked my account which shows as active, although some changes have been noted with the SA site as of late. Just create another account despite its hassles.

Hopefully, if that is the worst thing they are going to find in your messages they will reinstate you. I will take heed of what happened to you today and be extra careful with my verbiage when messaging on the site.
I guess this should serve as warning to try to take actual negotiations off site and have them via text or email and eliminate the risk of getting the boot. I have noticed most of the quasi hookers like to go to text right off the bat.

I was suspended a couple of weeks ago for "inappropriate language." I just respond to questions like you mentioned. I had to agree to be a good boy and serve a 24 hour suspension before they would let me back on. I try to take all negotiations off site by text but, sometimes the SB wants to get things started on site, so I guess I'll just have to see how it goes from here.
but of course I am talking about SA and I gather you guys are talking about some other Sugar Dating site. But at least on SA I think discussing the terms of an arrangement is accepted conversation. My conversations usually include offering and insisting upon a gift per visit arrangement rather than an allowance. Also, specific amounts of the gift$ have been discussed. I've never had any blowback from admin about this. I prefer to keep my conversations on the SA message board until I've met the girl irl and begun an arrangement.
I talking about SA. Maybe a disgruntled SB reported me. They didn't say how the suspension process was initiated. In fact, they didn't specify the offensive language either.
I too have never had a problem, but all it would take is one POT SB to contact admin and say "sweetman offered me money for sex, just like a hooker and I am SO offended" and a rather innocent PPM negotiation that includes intimacy could get you suspended or kicked off the site. You could have a hundred such conversations without a problem and then one BSC POT SB could report you.
I too have had SEVERAL such conversations on the SA message system without incident, but taking it to text or email does make some sense.
Your point is well taken. I hate trying to have meaningful communications via text. I prefer email. But it's much easier to keep track of multiple conversations if I keep them all on the SA site, which is why I've been reluctant to move to email. Maybe I'll reconsider in light of these comments.
with a chick on SA but we don't hook up right away. Some time later she might have taken down her SA profile, but with email I can still be in touch. Just last week I had the first BCD date with a girl I spoke to on SA almost 9m back. We never met at the time, but I got in touch with her on email. Even though she no longer had a profile up, we were able to finally hook up last week. She had told me she was very energetic and boy, she wasn't kidding.
Now, as soon as I get good convo going, I immediately steer them to email. That also gives me a chance to gauge their level of interest, which allows me avoid a lot of time-wasters.
I don't negotiate on site - ever. But I have seen several POT SB's start the process on SA with questions that include some form of "how much for _____". I immediately move that convo off the site. I reply with something like "let's talk about that on the phone or by text. My cell number is...."
I've never received a call (Millennials, right? 
, but I usually get a text, or she gives me her number and I text her.
But even through text, I'm always careful to use terms like "help with bills" and I always couch that in the context of multiple activities like "dinner, movie/shopping, or wine tasting, and some adult fun back at my place".
Thanks to everyone for the responses and input. After less than 24 hours was back up and running. Site administrator very apologetic and stated something in the text triggered automatic response. Once investigated, no problem. I have taken some good advice from the dialogue re: conversations offline. Will be much more cautious about that. And GaG, I've now been initiated into "the family" by your participation. Along with other regular posters, you have been my hero! As I'm gaining experiences, I will join in the discussion more often.
