I think that Japanese porn is still controlled and run by Yakuza. The JAV girls who work in the biz know how things work in Japan and could very well be lost on foreign soil in a foreign language with foreign laws and customs. It is extremely rare that you ever see JAV girls working with gaijin foreign talent in their movies. (There have been a few notable exceptions, but very few.)

In the USA, it is just a fraction of porn stars that escort and they sometimes come to TER (Newbie, etc) for help and advice about making the transition. When they do get into escorting, what you get in the room is often a lot different from what you see on the screen.

I agree that there are many incredibly beautiful, sexy, desirable JAV girls. I have never heard of any that ever provided escort services in NYC or the USA.  

There are MANY beautiful Asian (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, ...) providers in NYC who are very good at what they do and some of them even have videos on their web sites. I'm sure that many can accommodate your requests for cosplay or nylons or whatever. They may not be JAV girls, but I don't think you'll be disappointed.
