I've always had an insatiable appetite for role play and I am curious who else is into it.  And if you do enjoy it - why?  Also, do you have any memorable stories to share?  I'm looking for both girls and guys to give their feedback.  Ideally I'd like to see some interesting stories and learn what ladies are really into that sort of thing.

Ok, I'll break the ice.  I've always had a wild imagination.  When I was a kid I daydreamed (and played out) that I was an astronaut, spy or superhero.  Then I guess I never grew up because I still daydream about those things.  LOL.  I suppose what I like about role play is that I get to exercise my mind as well as my body.  And with a willing and creative partner it creates a sensory overload that I really enjoy.  Also it can let you expand your boundaries as an alternate personality (within safe limits you've discussed with your partner beforehand of course) beyond where you would normally, comfortably go.

One of my early "adult" role play memories came about through a group of friends weekly fantasy role play sessions (nerd alert LOL) back in college.  My girlfriend at the time was playing a bloodthirsty barbarian princess while I was playing the clever but shy wizard.  She would always tease me in game that she was going to tie me up and make me show her my magic wand.  Of course my friends got a kick out of this, she was encouraged by their laughter (not to mention I thought her aggressive taunts were hot) and "show her your magic wand"  became a running joke during our game sessions.

One night after a gaming session over dinner my girlfriend asked if she could actually play that scenario out.  I was intrigued and said sure.  So we spent the week getting our costumes together and after that next week's session we went back to my place and role played how we thought it would go.  We had a blast and it's been downhill for me ever since then.  Let's just say the barbarian princess subdued the wizard, got her way and got to see his magic wand after all.  LOL. I guess that's why I still occasionally enjoy a dominant woman in bed.
