I think you'll find these two articles worth while, especially the data and points in the second article from April.

"This newspaper has never found it plausible that all prostitutes are victims. That fiction is becoming harder to sustain as much of the buying and selling of sex moves online. Personal websites mean prostitutes can market themselves and build their brands. Review sites bring trustworthy customer feedback to the commercial-sex trade for the first time. The shift makes it look more and more like a normal service industry."

Very interesting article. And, amazingly, it appears on the Time magazine web site.

to read an argument for legalization from a john that considers not just his own predilection for the hobby, but the health and safety of providers! His description of the pimp/prostitute violence was definitely poignant. (Also looking at the total cost as a year of tuition at Harvard? Woah!)
