I will be in the city in about two weeks and have been blessed with great seats to an evening contest at a famous BB venue.

I thought maybe I could turn this into a double header starting with a few innings of the original ball game (outcall)  followed by an evening watching men in pinstripes play Mr. Doubleday's game against their most bitter rivals.

Don't respond to this unless you really want to have a fun time. I am a well-reviewed guy and I will treat you like an  All-American Princess, even if you were born in Norway, or wherever. And hopefully your seat will be as prime as the seats at the ball yard.

Peanuts and crackerjacks will be provided as a bonus.

I'm only in town from the 8th through the 11th. Bummer.

Hate the skanks anyway.  Your Skankees aren't doing that great this year either.

Why would ever insult a lady here?  Over sports fandom?  Really?

The Red Sox maybe do, and the Pats certainly do, but it's only sports.   Not the city of Boston!  And certainly not the providers who hale from there...

Been to so many games, can't count them all.  The first one was back in '67, and the Bosox won on a 3 run HR by Yaz in the 9th.  I was only 7, but I still remember that.  Three double headers...Sept. 69.  Split, but I remember that Ken Brett (older brother of George) not only pitched a great game in the night cap, but also homered, and had a couple more hits, and drove in several runs.  June 1970...also a split.  Yaz homers in the first game to propel the win, Yanks win the nightcap on 2 Bobby Murcer HR's.  Then there was 7/3/83...Red Sox won, 10-4.  Jim Rice hits a bomb into the LF upper tank, and Yaz homers also in his final year.  The next day, Dave Righetti pitched a no-hitter, which I watched on TV.  Since then, many games attended...the final game of a Red Sox sweep in '86 that put them on the road to the WS and infamy against the Mets...double header sweep by the Yanks in '97, the final games I would attend with my father...learning to hate, then respect Big Papi...the greatest Yankee killer of all-time.  Then the game just two months ago, which the Yanks won, for a change.   But we're near the bottom of the curve at this point.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane, and sorry for taking this off topic.  One of these years, I'm going to do what this hobbyist is planning to do.
