Hotel over bnb

I am always more comfortable in hotels. I actually like a little bit of foot traffic with other guests, I suppose it makes me feel safer should anything happen?

I have used airbnb for personal travel, but I think it is pretty disrespectful to use someone's home for hobby purposes. When I want a home away from home feeling I usually book a suite with a kitchenette and separate living area. NYC hotels are known to be pretty small, but I have stayed at a few very comfortable places! You are welcome to pm me if you'd like any suggestions :)

Hugs,
Allison

Curious as to what the preference is in New York City from both perspectives. I've always been more comfortable at hotels but in recent travels enjoying the full home of an air B&B .

More hotels are requiring keycards in NYC and that can be a hassle for you, since you'll need to come down to the lobby.

I have visited girls in AirBnb apartments and it worked out fine. But I think you run the risk of having a problem with the location if you are there for the first time. Does the building have a nosy doorman or nosy neighbors, for example.

One girl I used to see would get a regular AirBnB apartment that was on the 5th floor. I didn't mind but some guys might have a problem with that
