The reason uninformed followme thinks the USPS is "in the hole" is that the Republicans are attempting to destroy it because of all its union members who the GOP assumes vote Democratic. In 2006, a lame duck Republican Congress, urged on by Bush/Cheney, enacted a law that required the postal service to pre-fund retiree health benefits seventy-five years into the future. 75 years into the future!!! To cover future employees, not just current ones!!! And Congress gave the USPS only ten years to do it!!! 75 years worth of retiree health benefits funded in only ten years!!! No major private-sector corporation would or could do that. It’s an impossible demand that would put any private company out of business. Yet that's exactly what the Constitution-loving Republicans did to the Postal Service.
And "edumuhcated" lemmings like followme blindly follow their Republican leaders off the cliff, parroting whatever their leaders tell them to think.

Why is it dumb? It may run Pay day loan sharks out of business? U.S. Postal service issue money orders already so wire transfer will be an extension to that. If USPS can loan sharks prying poor people working hard to get by would be great help to them.
