Appt was booked several days in advance, think of it as reward for very hard week.

Given we both basically failed, it's a no harm no foul situation.  I am guessing this is extremely rare.

I always expect this lady to be at least 30 minutes late, so her notice 30 minutes after the schedule start would have been bad, but technically before I expected her to show up.  Normally I feel late notice cancels are same category as NS, but......

In this case, I was sound asleep, so did not have clue.  Actually had she showed up, I would have owed her the fee, this is clearly understood.

However, how come if we NS we owe a cancellation fee, if she NS we are supposes to simply reschedule?  Ever wonder about that logic

Okay.  Provider sends me email and text messages 23 and 30 minutes after our schedule appt that she is feeling ill and can't make appointment.

This is not a problem because.....

When I got to my room, I sat down and totally zonked out until 1am.  I was so asleep, I doubt I would have heard her knocking at the door.

So serendipity worked in both our favors.  That appointment was not to be, but I bet the next one will be awesome

Yes I could nitpick and complain about late notice, but I could have been the one at fault here instead.  So sometimes it's best to say no harm no foul

You fell asleep with her on the way?

Fell asleep hours before our schedule and technically she was never on the way brother balls.  Lol, i think it was more related to being in three cities on three days, but you may be right, I will take my t replacement gel more seriously as I prepare for our next appt.

Thanks for caring.  :)

Lol was on my way to edit when your post popped up

Meant to add "no disrespect

The day before or 2 to 3hrs prior to the appointment.

I would expect ladies to be livid if a guy gave them some lame excuse 30 minutes prior to their appointment, as a guy I feel the same way.

And not only would some gals and agencies be furious heck, they might make you pay a cancellation fee

haha you always expect that particular gal to be late, lol sounds like one of my favs... whenever I book her I expect her to be 30-hr late, I just plan accordingly. Luckily for you she did not show up or else you would've paid her to watch you sleep

My thoughts on cancellation fees and NCNS, I will never pay a cancelation fee because I respect providers time, if I know that I'm not going to make an appointment I let them know days or several hrs in advance, guys who cancel minutes before an appointment or no show should be subject to any cancelation fees an Indy or agency may have.

When a provider cancels last minute or No shows, I simply put them on my "do not see list" unless they offer to make it up to me, meaning something monetary off my session or with time.

Next time you want a night cap drink some coffee so that you can stay up my friend

I agree with you. Things do happen but giving notice as soon as possible is the best thing to do. Even calling if you are going to be late is acceptable. It depends on whether or not I am on a tight schedule also. Some folks may have all the time in the world to waste but I don't always have that luxury. I appreciate when a provider is considerate of my time as I am of theirs.

It is better to stay grounded in these situations instead, going ape shit crazy.

The fact that you BOTH sort of NS is a bit humorous. That usually never happens. Its usually on one end or the other.

This never really made sense to me, until Atlanta lol. I suppose it is because if you NS, as a provider we may have missed out on a seperate session we did not book because your appointment was already scheduled. At least for the providers who do not overbook themselves. Then on the flip side if she cancels your just out of time? Or just the session itself?

For me, that logic never stuck. I mean, there is a certain level of consideration providers and hobbiests alike should share. For me, NEITHER is cool, a NS is a NS across the board no matter which way it is flipped...SOMEONE is dissapointed. It seems to me, however, some guys don't see it this way here in the good ole ATL. Lol, I've had the most NS appointments here than I think i've had in any other city I've traveled to. I even extended my trip for a few extra days for a gentleman(and because i'm just not ready to go! Lol) and THAT appointment was cancelled just an hour ago lol. So the cancellation fee makes a bit more sense to me now. It seems to basically be a saving grace, especially for travelling ladies.
