Make sure you're hammered before entering Johnny's. You'll have better luck.

Planning on a business trip to Atlanta this week. I have an appointment scheduled with a provider but would like to try my luck on the local bar scene. Any suggestions for age group 35-50. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated !!!!!

Their are many bars that you can go to. My favorites are Leon's full service- great food and a lot of specialty drinks great beer choices. The Brick Store - go up to the Belgium bar. My new favorite is the Kimball House - oyster happy hour is stupid good- order the Kimball House Martini- it is beyond good-I don't like martini's. I might be Biased since my nephews group owns them. But trust me all 3 are great.

For Generations-Johnny's Hideaway has been the place to go-on Roswell Road as you leave Buckhead headed north....look it up...lot of divorcees-some with money-hang out there looking to hook up !  Gotten lucky myself there a few times back in the day !!!  Watch though-they often travel in packs !!

In there a while back while on a buisness trip. Got a little buzzed and was just having a good time. Started talking a little smack to some of the local ladies and asked one to dance. Don't remember what she exactly said but it was pretty smart assed. A simple no or I'm a lesbian would have worked fine. I'm fairly quick witted and don't give a damn when I'm drinking. Without a blink I said " so a little head is out of the question then" she complained to the bouncer he was cool about it but told me one more time and I was out. Which usually wouldn't have bothered me, but I was over the legal limit and there was a cop car in the parking lot. So I just sit my half drunk dumb ass down and shot the shit with some old dude.

I would have to be completely hammered to drag anything out of Johnny's.

The guys that hang out there are even more depressing, If anyone has ever wondered what became of all the "leisure suits" popular in the seventies, I swear to God, I have seen them worn there. lol

Anybody remember Billy's back in the late 70's. Had some great times at that place !!!!!!!!!!

that was the height of the "Sexual Revolution". I too was a front line Soldier Having sex was the norm and no Aids yet..."Remember what a Condom cost in the 70's? Neither do I, We never used them"  (Willy Nelson)   In those days  Screwing was as common as shaking hands.
