"What do you mean we kemosabe?"  ;)

Are you talking about you and me, or all of us on this board?  ;)

You do know that none of us here have any say on what Congress does regarding ACA.

Given that, I still think the cartoon accurately depicts the predicament the Congressional Republicans are in.  ;)

leaving millions screaming like a scalded cat just before a General Election.
It couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of selfish, narcissistic, self absorbed hypocrites and misanthropes.

if this board has completely given up on putting solutions on the table, rather than play the blame game on every post/thread?

Not directing this at you Matt...but honestly, you are a guy that talks about country first SOOOO...rather than worry who is going to get the blame, how about we try and fix the fked up HC situation in the country?

Any sane person would say Ocare is fraught with problems and any reasonable person would say there is much in the ACA that is good.

So why cant we keep the good, gut the bad, and give U.S citizens and business owners something we can all be proud of and that actually works?

I know that sounds crazy in this hyper partisan age, lol, but wouldn't that be best

Don't try and put this on Roberts or the Congressional Republicans. Granted, just like mari mentioned, there are some mighty fine features. But the Dems just had to design a shitty system, that led to a shitty implementation, and 4 little bitty words could bite them in the ass. None of this had to happen.

Somehow Obamacare will survive. Subsidies ain't going anywhere. If the SCOTUS rules in favor of King, Republicans will be branded as mean and cruel, and they hate poor people. Democrats will be branded as stupid. Both fair representations, don't you think.

Remember, you broke it, you fit it!

Thanks for pointing out we don't write legislation too. I was unaware. :D

The Republicans are not in any predicament at all. They will put a sunset on the subsidies and put the ball in Barry's court.

I'd love to see the R's being temporary pro-subsidy and Obama saying "nah, I'd rather see chaos." LOL

Not gonna happen Matt.

But that is 15 months before elections. Any republican who refused to vote to extend subsidies at that point would commit political suicide. Mr. Obama is not running for reelection.

The  GOP is indeed in a fix.  They have no choice but to support a law that they have been telling us is so bad. Lol

Obamacare in its individual form is here to stay.

It would be the adult and wise thing to do. They will make the case that they fixed what Obama broke. There will be some descension among the rank and file to be sure, but they will very quickly realize the better idea, both politically and substantively is to give themselves more time to work out a compromise.

Obamacare,in its present form is doomed, regardless of the coming SCOTUS decision. Rates are set to skyrocket next year with some insurance companies asking for 30-50% increases. No, they won't get all those increases but they will get enough to make the premiums spike in double digits.

The end of next year the risk corridors expire and that will cause yet another massive spike in rates.

28 of the 60 Dem senators who voted for Ocare are gone. The Dems dont want a repeat of that. With everyone having some skin in the game, we MIGHT get a much better law than the POS Obummercare we have now.

But you and I proly agree this point is moot. I don't think the sc will rule against Ocare.
