Iraq was a country that had nothing to do with US and Dubiya went and broke it beyond repair. The US will never learn that some countries are best left for a Dictator to control. Iraq, Libya, Egypt, Pakistan are examples.
Now Iraq will haunt this country and the UK (that Dubiya lap dog) for decades costing precious $$millions in tax dollars getting in between what really is a religious sectarian blood divide between Shiite and Sunnis. I don't see any other country seriously involved with this mess and why should they ?
President Obama, instead of sending more troops he should send Dubiya, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Powell, McCain and Graham to go and fix. Together they own 100% of Iraq mess.
Lindsey becomes POTUS and McCain appointed Secretary of Defense.
