Should he have started a phony charity and sold access to the White House like Hillary? Maybe he should have done a shady real estate deal with convicted felon Tony Rezko like 0bama? Maybe he should have married money like John Kerry or swindled people with real estate predatory lending like the Clintons? Then perhaps you would find him acceptable.
As for Republicans, they are either out of touch because they have too much money, or they immediately cross the line into "financial disaster". There is no in between, at least with Republicans.

I wonder how we missed the NYT "expose" regarding how the Clinton's financial irresponsibility caused them to end up "dead broke" after earning $200,000 plus almost all expenses paid every year for eight years.
Maybe the Clintons were using their extra cash to help reduce the national deficit?
