if its phone contact (or even email, if theres a screening form fill that out)

it should go something along the lines of this...

Hi My name is _______. I saw your ad (got your info from) on __________. i was wondering if you have time on ______ at ______ time to get together.

she should then take the ball and run with it. If its email you can provide her with some basic info about you. (age occupation general location etc)

never talk romance and finance! and make sure you've looked over her website to get all the information  you can about her. if you ask her a lot of stuff that is already available to you on her site you can expect her to tell you that the information is already on her site and to go back and look at it.

I hope this helps a little :)

It would be great if some providers could give some samples of what to say and or how to say it.

But here are a great post (linked in the weekly newbie welcome post, along with alot of other useful advice from the ladies) to help you out:

I like it when the potential client is polite and requests further info.  The guys who give an introduction that tells me who they are and how they heard of me are wonderful.  My favs are the ones who introduce themselves, tell me where they saw my ad, and give an idea of when they would like to meet.

The best thing to do is be polite, fill out the screening form, and give when you are available.  The less back and forth makes it easier for you and the provider to enjoy your time together.

Holly, you mentioned to fill out the screening form.

What is a screening form

Often on a providers website she has a form that requests info from you guys to help her verify you are safe.  I call my a request form, but in some form or other it is there.

be polite (& discreet).

Also READ the provider's website and reviews.  Most questions can be answered from information on there. That way you are not asking questions that have already ben addressed.

Otherwise be yourself & relax! :-)

you only get one chance to make a good first impression.
