Actually, that is a part of Obamacare that we need to repeal

Thanks to the NRA, Obamacare has a section entitled “Protection of Second Amendment gun rights” that prohibits covered doctors from requiring the disclosure of whether you lawfully own a gun.

The doctor can ask the question but can’t require you to answer. And if you do answer the question, the doctor cannot write down the answer in your medical records.

What is really insane is the insurer can’t charge more if you do have a gun in your house, even though we all know you are more likely to shoot yourself in the foot or worse than other persons. The NRA does not want accurate data on gun ownership and gun accidents.

So, while the idea of Obamacare giving it to the righties up the ass is enthralling, it doesn’t quite work that way.

Nonetheless, the purpose of asking the question before the prostate exam is clear- if you answer “yes,” the doc will give you that finger extra deep and long to teach you a little common sense.

Wish I could have been there LOL

If anyone thinks that George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four is still paranoid hyperbole here is something to consider.

I was at the gas station picking up my particular brand of heavily taxed(societal engineering) vice and had the clerk ask for my ID. I asked her why such excessive/disingenuous flattery for someone who had seen 21yo 37 years ago. The similar aged clerk replied "I'm on camera at all times and it is mandatory or I lose my job".

the clerk would get fired by the owner for fear of trouble.

There are signs at the stores that say if you look younger than 30, is it? They will ask for proof of ID.

But once you're a regular a clerk and security guards don't ask anymore.

But yeah it's funny when they even ask senior citizens for ID. Sometimes they complain about it.

I know a guy at 7-11 and he needs his job. Maybe on camera you can't really tell the age of the customer.
It's safer for them to ask. If there is a cop in the store or the owner sees that. They might say if you don't ask him or her. Maybe you don't ask anybody.

I'll take a six pack, a pack smokes and some weed, please.

Ok I removed the pic of a person that is young but looks really old. Just imagine it. Censorship, I hate it. It wasn't even a pic of the Prophet Mohammed

It's corporations asking intrusive questions during the interview process. How about your footprint on your computer, every key stroke tracked. It's everywhere.

Yesterday I went to the doctor for my annual physical. Been going to her for over 10 years. Before she starts hands to me a little questionnaire. Questions on sleeping patterns, anxiety, relationships. I asked her what the hell is this for. They now ask questions about your mental health as well as physical. Next, she asked is I was monogamous. Wanted to know if she needed to add STD testing to my lipid and metabolic panels. Never been asked these questions before. Next question threw me by surprise. "Do you own any guns"? Dead silence! She said it's a question some doctors now ask their patients in conjunction with the mental health questionnaire. My response, "isn't this the time when you stick your finger up my ass, and I tell you how much I love you". She didn't laugh, nor did I when I heard the snapping of latex gloves (lol).

I'm sure this is when mari chirps in an applauds the medical industry, and somehow credits Obamacare.

Oh by the way, Baltimore is having the worst May in 20 years for murders, which coincides with fewer arrests. Seems when the police show up at a call, 30 to 50 local citizens are all there with their smartphones taping  every little interaction. So police in fear of making the smallest mistake and potentially losing their job, or getting arrested, just don't show up.

a pistol(less) packing hermaphrodite looking over my female doctor's shoulder. But if you listen real carefully, when she pulls out her finger, you'll actually hear the following. Go ahead, play the clip.

P.S. When is the King v Burwell decision again. It doesn't matter. My book, "Subsides for the Rich" edition #1, was only released in the state of California. We're fine!

All adults have an ID.

...show IQ cards to prove they're smart enough to vote.  If that were the case, yours would be stamped "SOL."

Fat Vern is proof that LESS people should vote.

Doesn't it irk you a bit that his vote cancels yours out? I know I bothers me that the vote of someone like Senor Grumpy carries the exact same weight as mine.

Hey, you have to take a test and prove you are competent before driving, flying, teaching, building a house, and a thousand other things we do. Why not have to prove you have at least a triple digit IQ before getting a vote to decide how this country is run? Kids and dogs don't get to vote, why should stupid people have any say so?

Sounds logical, and noncomplicated. Not that I'm for ot against the policy.
