Well ok, I do have one last comment about the likes of Hadji. Why is it that good socialists like Hadji and WillyWonka take such pleasure in the real life suffering of their own neighbors and countrymen? Liberals, by definition, are supposed to be open-minded and accepting. They claim to be welcoming to immigrants and to minorities. They push hard for the rights of those who pursue same-sex marriage and other rights.
Yet, liberals like you can't seem to accept a picture of a man and a woman holding hands and praying together before they get married. Just who are they harming by doing this??? Is any taxpayer money being spent so they can hold hands and pray?

Remember Andrea Yates who drowned her five sons in Texas? She was found not guilty by reason of insanity due to postpartum psychosis. But Yates was a very religious woman who said that her kids "...didn't do things God likes." Maybe she killed her kids because it was God's will. Who are we to question her religious convictions? She's called crazy but she could just be a heavy-duty thumper.

Seems pretty innocuous. A couple holding hands, praying and one in military dress. It generally wouldn't raise the anger for most people.
What does that picture represent to a progressive? That picture is the antithesis of what they believe in, and not just from a religious point of view, but politically as well. Progressives and Evangelicals have diametrically opposed views on just about everything. Put two men holding hands in West Hollywood or San Francisco, and you will get the same reaction from an Evangelical.
Progressives and Evangelicals are in the minority, but there are enough people in the middle that hopefully marginalizes and cancels those 2 groups out.
P.S. I believe a definition of a "thumper" in the mind of a Progressive is an Evangelical. If their definition of a "thumper" includes mainstream Christianity, i.e. Episcopalians, Methodists, Catholics, etc., then I guess the problem is worse than I thought.
I lost faith in Christianity when hordes of pedophiles hiding behind those long flowing robes pleaded guilty to rape, sodomy and child pornography. I guess for the country as a whole the out of court settlement ran in to $billons.

If someone wants to send wishes to an imaginary man on a cloud in the sky, why would it bother you even in the slightest?
