for your kind words! Jazz32- I tried to do as you suggested to get my "See my TER Reviews" icon up and running- I sent the url and a brief message to "staff" through PM- twice! Is there something I should do differently to ensure that these reviews are credited to me??

Thanks a bunch!~

I certainly appreciate this forum for a newbie. I would like to become a weekend warrior and to that end I have been studying the customs and etiquette...

I get the idea of what I cannot say or hint at...I am looking to be as discreet as possible.

I live in Columbus, Ohio, so there is a choice in providers.

My question would be this: How can I provide a reference for something I have never done?

Do all providers offer another type of verification? What is the standard in this? Is there any special etiquette in this regard?

As far as the Hobbyists, what should I be looking for in a provider? Rip-off signs?

Just as a personal preference, I am not into anything heavy in regards to fetishes. Just your normal cut and dry things. I am in the professional world career wise.

Any help would be appreciated. I feel I have the ground rules down for the game, but any strategy lessons would be helpful...

Thanks!

Hi there and welcome!
I'm kind of in the same boat as you, only on the other end.. I'm a provider newbie!! :) There is some great info on here and I talked with people and browsed the boards for a month and a half before I officially started advertising as a provider.. As for your question about screening, some providers accept verification through third party sources, such as RS2k and DateCheck, where someone else screens your info and verifies that you are safe, and then passes on to the provider that you are all good. It generally costs money to join these sites, for both providers and hobbyists. My personal verification policy is to provide either a provider reference (which you obviously don't have) OR employment information, which is something that most, if not all, new hobbyists are able to provide. In addition, the TER whitelist is acceptable verification for me as well, but this is something you will not have until you have gained a little more experience! Everyone does it differently, but most providers understand that not everyone will have a reference from another lady. In fact, I love the opportunity to be a new hobbyist's first- to de-virginize, if you will! :)

Hope this helps!

A fledgling ad page w/TER stamp, a website under construction, and a "review" already in the basket. BRAVO!!!!

My life moderating this board would be much easier if more newbies (provider or hobbyist) did the research you have obviosly done.

WELL DONE, and keep up the great work!!!

Next step - get that "see my TER reviews" appendage next to your name when you post.

but Staff has now come through, and the appendage is now there.

Oh, BTW, you are also no longer moderated!
