At the usual spot :-) I still find it hard to believe that there isn't something even slightly posh in OOB  the beach in the fall is awesome IMO

Is there such thing as a real hotel at OOB  I am finding motels, inn's and B&B's but I can't find a real hotel.  2015 I have to believe that there is something that resembles a 3* or better hotel by the sea?

OOB doesn't offer much...a string of motels. I haven't it change much over the years I've lived in/or visited Maine.

I believe the Downeaster only stops there between Memorial and Labor Day.

Personally, I find it run down. Can't beat the pier fries though.

Not a Mainer, just lived there for a couple of years.

If your looking for the swank places you may have to go to some places like Wells, York, Kittery, Ogunquit or Kennebunk Port (just don't take a zumba class). All these places offer very swanky high end place close to or on the beaches and surrounded by great resturants and some good shopping!!! Have fun stay safe;)

The Moby Dick in OOB would be perfect

Wish in one hand,  shit in the other  right  lmao  aren't you supposed to be doing some research right now?

I always prefer an apt/condo or at least a suite---on the beach, where you can drink your wine on the deck at sunset...xoxoxC

Next time I will look into it tyvm C
