END OF MESSAGE

Well, their team won the game, but many of them don't feel too positive about their players, nor their accomplishments.  ;)

Republicans only further enhances the point that you can find little, if anything, positive to say about Democrats.

It's a tactic that really gets old quickly.  Getting old, kind of like your frontrunner for 2016 and, unfortunately for America, our likely next President.

Considering the vast majority of articles and comments posted on this board are negative, and few posts are making positive comments on any politician or political party, let alone those on the opposite site of the isle of the poster, you picking me out of everyone else is quite curious. Getting how old it all is, I'm curious as to why you are even here to begin with.  ;)

Perhaps, it's just a typical righty diversion from not addressing the issue as presented; not speculating on why that may be! ;)

...righties come out of the ground and start making a lot of noise about the next presidential election.

After the Republicans lose, they slink away and crawl back into their holes only to reawaken before the next election and make the same noise.  At least the cicadas are trying to get laid!!

Of course you say that you aren't taking it personally but that is exactly what you did.

Most posts by people on both sides of the aisle here are negative.  That is one of the big reasons why I have stayed away from the board the last three years.  That and dealing with some posters who inexplicably fill the board with endless, repetitive posts.

I wasn't picking you out at all.  You just happened to be the one who made the post today that was at the top of the board and caught my attention as I logged in.  Of course, I'm not surprised at all that you in your typical lefty defense mode would immediately jump and feel as though you were being attacked.

This is merely conversation about politics, not a personal 15-round boxing match.  Believe me, I have better things to do than log on here and spend time "attacking" liberal posters . . .

Hypocrisy, thy name is one club between a 9 iron and a sand wedge.

How are your posts in this thread not negative? You talk about staying away and yet here you are, committing the same acts you are railing against. You deride the very actions that you are engaging in *in a single post*.

observation.

I'm not "railing" against anything.  Trust me, I don't get worked up over anything anymore on this board.

Life is far too short for that.

You can return to your hole and get yourself ready to "spring out" and "defend" yourself the next time someone says something -- oops, I mean "attacks" you

Like this.

And this.

And don't forget this one! For someone who has better things to do than attack people, why are you doing it?

You say you didn't do something when you did, and did do something when you didn't.

1. When you address someone, and say you or your or yours, you've made it personal.

2. You said: "This is merely a conversation about politics..." Yet, you never commented on anything regarding the article I linked. There was no political discussion.

3. The laughing and winking emoticons are my way of saying I didn't take it personal, yet you're saying I did.

Yep! Best not go the 15 rounds. You're losing you legs already.   ;)

...The "championship distance" of fights was shortened from 15 rounds to 12 over 20 years ago for reasons of safety.  PW should brush up on his boxing knowledge when he isn't trashing Dems while ignoring the same behavior by his fellow Republicans.

But back when I watched boxing when it was still a "real man's sport" - when Ali, Frazier and Foreman fought -- it was still 15.

You just love to try to catch someone making a technical error, don't you?  Like I said to Matt above, it's a sad, sad state of affairs when you spend your weekend nitpicking with others on a fuckboard.

There is nothing that resembles anything remotely identifiable as "championship" when it comes to matt attempting to participate in many conversations. Going the "distance" with matt does require fortitude though as he rarely recognizes when he'd be better served by "staying on the mat".

What he lacks in substance, he more than makes up for in sheer tenaciousness, and the willingness to argue minutia for days, no matter how little it has to do with the original debate.

"Reasonable Matt" can be a pleasure to talk to, but "Partisan Matt" is a complete waste of energy to "debate" I guess he feels obligated sometimes to pick up where Priapussy left off.

I see now I went 18 rounds that week. It took admin throwing in the towel (too many fight metaphors?) to put that thread out of it's misery. Indeed I wasted an entire week of my time then. Not so ironically, the topic of that thread 10 months ago (OK Senator Coburn's dissatisfaction with some things on FOX) was one of the points raised in this new thread citing Bartlett's hit piece.

I now seriously doubt he believes half of what he states when in his "partisan" mode, which is why I recently clicked the ignore user button for my very first time.

Notice who they cut off. You, not me!  ;)

to see family.

You are the one on very wobbly legs, metaphorically speaking.  So, I'd think it was you who'd want to end this silly little discussion!   ;)
