I'm older, no longer married, too broke (and uninterested) to date for a relationship, but still love sex. This is truly cheaper than dating, and there's more honesty. To have the same experiences with dates, I'd have to mis-lead them about my feelings for them or where the relationship is going, etc. It's much more pleasant to just be with someone I can be honest with.
