I finally had my first encounter with a provider yesterday. It was safe, wonderful, and fulfilling. And now I'm looking forward to writing my first review.
I don't think my first encounter would have been possible without TER. Somehow, when I first started thinking about doing this, I stumbled onto the TER site, and I've been reading it consistently since then. I sure have learned a lot about the ins and outs (so to speak) of this hobby. In fact, I was thinking back to where I was a couple of months ago, and I'm very glad I didn't do anything foolish back then.
So anyway, I wanted to thank y'all -- both the hobbyists and the sweet providers. I have a lot of catching up to do, so I'm looking forward to meeting more of you providers.
Your story is similar to mine. I spent almost a month here before my first time. I too stumbled onto the site one day after being bored and, well, horny. I knew escorts were out there, but didn't know the first thing about them. Then I realized I was going on vacation a few weeks later and started to consider jumping in. The more I read, the more I wanted to try and it, and now I am 3 meetings in and having my 4th tomorrow and I have loved every second of it. I visit TER at least once every day. All of this was not possible without TER and more importantly all the wonderful and helpful people here who are eager to share advice and experienced. Good luck by the way, it only gets better with each experience.

That is what this hobby is all about. All of us were new at one point. Write reviews to help others but be accurate. Nothing worse than a review that inflates the expectation level.
Having a wonderful time without all the problems. Be patient with your first reviews if they get sent back, some get frustrated til they get the hang of it. Just look at what they say is wrong, correct it and resubmit.
