Why does that bush has to court the evangelical?

Why not court the atheist?
Why are these people so special? I guess more people believe in BS or at least pretend. And he pretends to pretend to the pretenders... Bunch of hypocrites they all are.

Siding with "the little sisters" when he wants to become "the Man". The big brother he pretends to oppose.  

But poeple still believe politicians, of all sides and parties. Just like they believe in religions and god.

You're right it doesn't mean anything. Whoever came up with that cartoon thought it was something funny, meaningful or deep.
But it's not. It's stupid. Just like the bible. There is no symbolism. people just see what they want to see.
