There is no excuse for the behavior of the unsubs. However, if you dig deep enough to the person's history, coupled with the behavior and a what triggered it, one can understand why s/he did what s/he did.

I never had a hot teacher when I was a teenager, they were all just a bunch of geriatrics. Ultimately, that was probably a good hiring job by the school district.
