I don’t want to start a debate with those have minimal understanding of web browsers, HTTP, HTTPS, Internet, proxy servers and how they work.

If the browser is causing it will do it all the time and will not correct itself. It is one of those technology things at present because we have not invented artificial intelligence yet for technology to correct itself.

For the last week or so every time I come here the categories and things are messed up. There's no longer a menu bar at the top. It's hard to navigate around to find things. Even when I click on messages, I have to scroll down a couple of screens through long lists of all the things that used to be on the menu bar at the top. It's a pain and I think I might just quit visiting.

I haven't noticed anything different with my view. Everything seems fine. Maybe a glitch with your computer/device? I'm sure it's an easy fix...

Don't let that keep you from visiting, though.
Good Luck!

Try firefox or chrome. IE was problematic last week.

I use my desktop and kindle, no problems just occasionally slow but not more than the usual.

You probably know this but try clearing everything, cache, history, cookies, etc. .

Interesting. It's back to normal now. Didn't do anything different. I use the Tor browser.

TOR browser bounces you around many proxy servers running other individual’s computers in the name of anonymity. Any issues any of the server your browsing session is bouncing through will show up as problems. No real easy way to determine exactly which browser is having problems.

One way to quickly determine if is TER issue or not is to use another browser and connect. If you get in normally then the problem is not with TER.

It is the TOR browser itself. It is not compatible with certain functions on TER and other sites that are similar.

I've used Tor and Orbot/Orweb (Android, I love my S3 now S4) for the past two years. Very few issues, mostly with pictures, but TER has been ok. Just have to go classic or scroll down the pages to find a link as highlighting links is often not allowed.

Of course I also do some private browsing on Firefox and there are several add-ons (like Ghostery and MalwareBytes) to reduce my online footprint.

My 2 cents, ga_kosh

from the TOR browser and it will look the same every time regardless of the transit routes. That was my point. It is not a browser error either. TOR simply does not have the functionality of main stream browsers. It's all an equitable tradeoff and there's not really anything to debate about.
