I met a provider years ago and became personal friends about ten years ago. Such good friends that I knew her kids and the rest of the family. They all use to ask how we met and we said through mutual friends. In her mid 50's she was still active and beautiful, but she was starting to have memory problems and getting confused. We found out that she had early onset of Alzheimer's at age 55. She moved away to be near her family. Her condition got much worse. I just got a call from her daughter who told me her mother had passed away at age 60.
She was a special person and I will miss her.

That is a scary disease... I used to take care of an Alzheimer's patient when I was 18. Was not fun.....God bless you and her...take care...
I am sorry to hear about your loss of a close and special friend. Know that she is in a better place and looks at you all smiles and sends you lots of light and love! I am sure you held a special place in her heart as well.

Sorry for your loss my friend. I lost my mom and She had that alful Alzheimers. She did not know who I was the last 4 years of her life. But I am thankful she had a good life for most of her 100 years.
