Providers that are newbie friendly that way your wife feels at ease. I would also suggest reading reviews of Duos and back channeling. The majority of providers in NYC usually see couples so I don't think you should run into any problems. I don't know if Bianca and Rob are still in the hobby I believe they are and based on their reviews they sound amazing, they would be my first choice personally.
