Choosing a provider for me is a couple easy steps:

- good reviews.  I will read the last 2-3 to get a feel of what type of experience she provides.  I'll scan the last page of just numerical ratings to make sure the average is high. I will throw out 1-2 low outliers.
- pics are super important.  If i dont get turned on by the pics then the good reviews are worthless to me.  Its a bonus if the i can get pics without the face blurred.  This is rare but travelling providers sometimes provide via email.
- location of incall.  If the porvider is not located close to midtown manhattan that could be a deal killer.

Although the public representation and exhibition of private experience as exposed in the self presented sexual objectification of a provider in a photographic portfolio can never be totally revealed if the provider does not continually update this visual communication the hobbyist might become bored with a photographic catalog of a provider if not updated and revamped regularly . The hobbyist may decide to "upgrade" or "prune" his selection of providers , taking advantage of an opportunity to see others based on pictures or even new pictures presented due to the visual nature of men as a whole.

Using photos to present an image and suggestion of an experience, a staged , managed, artificially constructed model created for mass consumption we as providers can open the door to or allow the hobbyist to view through the window as a peeping Tom or John as the case maybe . It is my belief that he would like to look in on something happening or be able to visualize in his minds eye some possible experience or adventure, particularly involving an event that includes him.

Despite my own enthusiasm for photographs and visual representation of a suggestive, subjective experience and imagined scenario it is not real until it happens . I feel one must first accept that when it comes to photos it certainly is the flavor of the day. The  fact is that a real life experience can only be realized when it occurs in real life , in real time and in person.

I do prefer as a woman the reading of reviews as opposed to the more visually charged path of looking at pictures when it comes to imagining the experience that could be had with any individual. I do understand however that it is two fold as the visual holds such an important role for men and testosterone is a huge catalyst for the decisions made by the gents in terms of choosing a provider experience .

The truth is men react to the visual.  It is clear, at least to me , much more so than a female does.

How do you feel about reading of reviews as opposed to visually analyzing your chances for an experience based on photographs?

I can not help but notice many people do not have VIP which would allow them to read full reviews and get the " juicy details" and depend on what is exposed in the beginning of the reviews and visual representations and photos of the girls as the tools for deciding on which provider to meet.

Personally I am very interested in how the decisions of choosing a provider are made and what specifically tips the scales for you as the hobbyist .

                                                                                                                                                                                                   Amiably yours , Pollie Amorous

I, for one, tend to have my interest piqued by provocative or well written board posts or blogs.  A review establishes certain bona fides for a provider, just like a reference or white list provides for a hobbyist; you have some assurances that the person is not a flake or worse, and perhaps gain a sense of some basic points in common.  Photographs likewise provide some confirmation of physical type which, as we are all human, is an element to the process of attraction.  Board postings, blogs, and a well written web presence, however, are for me the basis of most of my decisions to contact a provider.  If I am going to spend several hours naked with a person, I would hope for both a modicum of physical and intellectual attraction, which will not be gleaned from either reviews or photographs.  I once booked a session based upon a footnote in the consideration page of a provider's website that offered several famous chefs free sessions; clearly a woman after my own heart, and we had a lovely time.  Many contacts arose for me after responses to board postings.  So postings such as yours certainly have great merit in making connections.  A really cute moniker probably makes a difference as well.

In my case pics are exceptionally important. I particularly like sites that have a variety of photo's featuring various poses outfits.
But I'm experienced enough to know pics don't tell the whole story.
Of course , many ladies  ( or their photographer ) know how " sell it". But I've also come to learn some ladies simply tend to be more photogenic than others. For example I was a little slow to book with a lady that eventually became a fave because in spite of her stellar reviews I was never impressed with her pics. But I met her at a DC M&G and she completely blew me away.....lesson learned.
Bottom line , sure pics catch my attention ( yours certainly have ).
But I trust reliable reviewers more.
So when a lady has great pics plus rave reviews ( again , like you) I'm in!!

Thank you gentlemen for your input . I appreciate your participation and opinions.
I have been considering getting professional pictures done myself as all of mine are from a hobby "friend" and not a professional photographer . I think he is pretty good though as a hobbyist goes.
I have always felt that having pro photos ,although being really very beautiful , typically are not for me .
I have personally  Never wanted a career photo,  What is a "Career Photo" you may ask?
It is a photo that is so good and so perfect , so touched up and photo shopped that I can never leave the house again . Meaning, I can never live up to the pictures.
I have instead wanted photos that are not going to look better than I do and in fact I look better in person that I do in print.
I do not see the point of having pics that I can not live up to.  I do see why some ladies may want them , they may feel the need to compete with the many other beautiful pictures other girls may be showing .
For my purposes I tend to want to compete with myself for the most part even if that is a little snarky. I can really at the end of the day can only be  me, which I am quite comfortable with .
I do not use photo shop to change my pics other than the lighting at times and to cover tattoos for privacy purposes.
I am seriously considering breaking down and seeing what the result of a professional shoot may be even if just for fun .
I am well aware that I am not a model by profession . The ladies that are models tend to be
5ft 8 in-6 ft  with must less in terms of breasts .
I am a mere 5ft 2 and fairly generously proportioned in the breast area. I am quite sure there is a reason the chose these beautiful amazons for print work as a rule .
I hope I will be pleasantly surprised by the results of my pro photoshoot. If not I always have my friend who has taken all of my other phots. I am quite lucky to have him at my disposal .
Thank you again for your thoughts and answers .
All the best always , Pollie Amorous

When I  first started, I followed conventional wisdom.  Now, I  usually won't even consider meeting unless we have met first at an m&g, or have communicated online so that I know that there is some chemistry between us.  Not that I need to tell you that...how long have we been friends?

I am very new to this for only two months and 4 experiences, and have had wildly variable results from stellar to okay, but all were very nice as people.  I first look at pictures, but only those with average rating of 8.0 or higher.  Everyone has a different "type" and even blurred pictures can convey body type, hair color, etc.  I don't like photo shopped pictures, they are quite obvious and you are right that no one has a perfect body and can even make the woman self conscious about the pictures vs. reality.  Real pictures convey more about the person, you just have to be careful to pick the best ones, as they could convey something negative or can distort body type as everyone photographs heavier no matter what.

The reviews are very helpful to understand what the woman likes, or doesn't, and her personality, both positives and negatives.

However, the most important to me is if they are willing to converse a little on-line to find about more about each other, without compromising privacy.  You can tell about the person by their writing and will feel more comfortable with them when you meet.  In my short experience, if someone won't take the little time to tell you more, the experience will not be great and they will be very self centered.

By the way, the way you write and analyze variables shows obvious intelligence and thoughtfulness.

Recently I contacted someone who moved out of U.S. and she told two women, and they each contacted me by sending a picture with no writing to even tell me how they got my TER email address.  Finding out information was very frustrating and I passed, even though both were my type physically but not mentally.

Question for the women; do you find what I am suggesting too time consuming?  In my case I also tend to go for low volume women or "moonlighters" who are pretty new to this like me, so they want to see if they will "connect" with the other person in advance.
