I am planning a possible trip in December!

am a sunny California courtesan who travels, and I am planning to maybe come out to NYC in December. I think it is a beautiful time, and I am not sure whether or not gentlemen can get away to meet as much at that time, or more..  Most clients I see tend to be daytime players, who find the time to escape from work and that is the excuse. I think maybe right before the holidays people work a lot as they take off holiday time, so maybe there will be appointments as gents have that excuse that they are busy working or going out to do some holiday shopping.

...during the holiday season? Just wondering, since the signs that the holidays are fast approaching are BEGINNING to pop up everywhere, I couldn't help but wonder if the "hobbying" scene gets BUSIER this time of year, especially in NYC?

I would tend towards thinking that it WOULD based on TWO factors:

1) providers are wage EARNERS like anyone else, and I'm sure SOME of them would like to earn some EXTRA cash to cover the inevitable holiday expenses.

2) Many hobbyists receive year end BONUSES around this time, and what better way to spend it than engaging in one of their favorite activities?

This is not some fickle, curiosity-filling query.  I'm trying to plan my hobbying budget for the rest of the year, and I'm wondering if I should keep my powder "dry" (as the saying goes) and wait for the eventual arrival into town of QUALITY pros that may (or may NOT) come during the holiday season.  Any insight into this query is welcome, ESPECIALLY from pros in the biz. Thanks for reading and participating.  Hobby on!  ;)

I get August.  A LOT of people, including hobbyists, tend to take their VACATIONS then.  But FEBRUARY?  Why February?  Hmm...

February is always the slowest month for me. I still get a decent amount of business during the week in the summer months, but not on weekends. February though, crickets. It's when I plan vacation.

Isn't that the CRAZIEST thing, Alison?  When everyone else is working through the DREGS of winter (and planning their July/August vacation), you're already on yours?  Wild!

Many hobbyists are busy with family, buying presents and generally not in the game.  Ladies are also often busy with family.  So IMO there's a slowdown.

Also, you talk about QUALITY pros but your selections don't reflect that spending level. lol

January and February is always Slow for me and August. January cause people are recouping after the holidays. February kicks off tax time so a lot of people are hurting after paying taxes.  

September through December is the busiest time of the year, with December being the busiest.

Around holiday time a year ago and it was a HUGE mistake. I spent tons on ads but barely got any calls. Mostly guys who were just window shopping. January was also miserable. Things started picking up at the end of February for me. Now that I've been doing this for a year though I noticed that my December schedule is already half full so I guess it all depends! I would say to you that anytime you show up to a great city like this there are going to be TONS of excellent women for you to choose from so feel free to travel when you want!

After hobbying for twelve years, I would say the Holidays are relatively normal, though there have been exceptions during that period that were especially memorable.  Yeah... :)
