From the Washington Post, April 4, 2015.

Last month, the Republican-led Arizona House of Representatives passed, on a 36-to-24 party-line vote, a bill sponsored by tea party Rep. Bob Thorpe (R-Flagstaff) that “prohibits this state or any of its political subdivisions from using any personnel or financial resources to enforce, administer or cooperate with an executive order issued by the President of the U.S. that has not been affirmed by a vote of Congress and signed into law as prescribed by the U.S. Constitution.”

If adopted by the Arizona Senate and signed into law, executive orders issued by the president would have no force or effect in that state. What’s more, the Arizona House has passed a number of other bills aimed at nullifying policies, rules and regulations of the Obama administration that have not been approved by Congress

BSC’s have become intolerable with their BS.

If a state refuses to uphold an executive order, Federal Government can and will take over and cut-off funds to the state. As I said, go read and read a bit of history also. There are many examples of it in the history of our country.

I didn't say it was right or wrong...simply quoted Wash Post...are you sending our comments to them?  hate mongers abound on this board

The last thing you should want is for people to find out how much 0bama is violating the constitution. And unless 0bama is planning on defunding Arizona via executive order... Don't expect any help from Congress.

Your question just proved you and rest of the crazies never have read one paragraph of the constitution.

As an FYI, Smithsonian has the original one scanned and online. Try that.

What's to prevent Democrats from doing the same when they are out of the WH.

All I did was post a link to the article that nuguy quoted so anyone interested could read it.  I did NOT offer an opinion on the subject matter of the article.

In general though I agree with the premise that the party in power should be at least somewhat aware that what they do may come back to bite when they are no longer in power, just ask the Democrats in the Senate.
