...vendor literally served garbage to prisoners. An employee of Aramark had thrown the food away before realizing more inmates still hadn’t been served. The employee then retrieved the food from the trash, rinsed it off and reheated it.
The inmate workers refused to serve the food so Aramark employees did it themselves because the corporate bottom line comes first.
Yes, privatization is great
Because the company (Aramark) did admit it and did not try to cover it up, make excuses, point fingers, and blame others as a government agency would do. They also fired the employee who did it.
Try doing that to a government employee.
So yeah privatization is great.
