Having worked in and out of India for many years and living ther for 3, I did all of my hobblying abroad. Business took me to HK, Singapore, London and back to the US, all of which have a better established, cleaner and safer scene. My advice would be to do the same.
In both Mumbai and Delhi you will find ads in local papers offering various services, they will either be local or Russian. The locals are definitely coerced in to the trade and controlled by local bullies and pimps. Costs are low ($20-$30) but you should leave them alone. There is a red-light district in Mumbai where you could be serviced by a female ($6) or Transgender ($2). The places are disgusting, AIDS is rife, stay very very clear. The Russian/Ukanian "models" are run by either the local mob or the Nigerian mob. The Police are involved also so chances of a shake down are very high. They are low quality and relatively high priced ($100) Per the above. My advice would be to utilize the wifi coverage and take things in your own hands until you can wangle a trip out of the country.I will b in Delhi next week. Looking for massage infall or out call .

There was an epidemic of bubonic plague in India in 1994 and it can still be found there. (There was another epidemic in Mozambique in 2015.) But don't worry too much. Plague isn't nearly as common as malaria, typhoid and hepatitis.
But if you're going to be in Delhi, would you please pick me up a sandwich: salami on rye with mustard, pickle and side of cole slaw.

I'm moving toward spending about half my time in India, but I haven't figured out the local scene there yet. I don't know any sex workers in India personally yet, and the folks I do know there all say that the escort scene is highly controlled by pimps, mafia, and madams. As in- if you go to the right part of town- you can get laid for around $2-3- maybe a bit more if you're obviously a foreign businessman- but the situation may be dangerous and the women/girls involved may be coerced or underage.
I'm sure there is a scene of legitimate independent escorts and massage ladies in New Delhi, but shit if I know how to find it! I'm available to fly anywhere in India at no extra charge when I'm in the country since flights are so cheap there. However, I am currently on tour in the US until the Winter Solstice.

I have heard much the same over the years from several people with first-hand knowledge -- which I don't have -- but I was going to mention.
The overriding advice/sentiment was to stay away from the scene there, which is unfortunate because I too find Indian ladies highly attractive, tho they can be "princessy" and often stick to the Indian men.
