Oh, look. The Republicans control both houses of Congress, and they were forced to capitulate to Obama.
So after months of pissing and moaning about immigration, and trying to hold up funding for a bunch of bullshit, they caved. We got the exact same result we would have gotten anyway, except the Republicans have yet again proven to be so dysfunctional that they've made the United States look weak around the world.
It's shit like this is exactly why we had our nation's credit rating devalued. Because Republicans in the House are so far off in fucking crazy land that they're incapable of governing.
Again, I ask. Why in the fuck would you vote for someone when they refuse to do their fucking jobs?
What they should have done, instead of the bill that most recently passed, would have been to somehow tie the expiration of the illegal DHS immigration funding to the outcome of the ongoing court case.
There job is to give the Democrats everything they want. That is, after all, why the people voted for them (and not Democrats).
Also the downgrade in US credit rating had nothing to do with acquiring debt like never in human history. It was downgraded because Republicans were to slow to rubber stamp additional spending.
