Why does the press still feel the need to misstate the facts in the case and make Trayvon out to be someone other than who he was?

I understand why the family is emotionally involved and I give them a pass on what they say.

But why is the media so emotionally involved 3 years later, after one not guilty verdict and no charges from the feds?

It sells!

The real question is: who's buying it and why? I have no answer to that!   ;)

and it's not like he's an otherwise upstanding citizen.

The press will always push a white vs. black story.  But, do they ever do the same for black on white crime?  Silly question I know.

"Dog bites man", not so much.

Silly question, silly answer, right? lol

but sometimes the silly answer is the right one.

It always catches up to those who commits crimes and get away with it.

This is more than just race now but about a criminal that keeps getting away with crimes!

The same reason you use race at your KKK meetings.

I see a criminal thug that killed a teenage boy and gets no charges by hiding behind race himself.

So now he can keep beating on his girlfriends?

All I see is a coward and asshole that should be in jail.

You and the other fools can defend this criminal but it will come back to him!

The forensic evidence showed that Martin was on top of Zimmerman, trying to bash his brains in, when the shot was fired. This constitutes the legal standard of disparity of force, therefore, Zimmerman acted in self-defense. Zimmerman may be a total douchebag, but he still acted in self-defense. End of story. Move the hell on.

But shooting Martin was not one of them.

and if Zimmerman had been the one who was killed not only would we have forgotten about it long ago, it's doubtful that it ever would have gotten of the 23rd page in the first place.
