Like to continually review. In fact I'm not even certain how valid their new reviews are with TER.  This poses a problem because ppl are like "why no new reviews?"
It's a catch 22

I happen to be browsing on other regional boards and a question was brought by a provider that made my mind wonder. Does it matter to the guys when they decide to pick a provider whether she has updated reviews or not? Like myself, Ive been in the hobby for years but sometimes I have points in my real life where I cant hobby full time, therefore making it not an important thing to request reviews.

When I see a year or more I wonder what's up, whether pics are current, etc.,.  But your breaks are 2-3 months, just tells me busy and likely low volume

I guess the same would go towards the guys' whitelists?

I find repeat visits much more flattering. I personally like to make sure he comes back rather than just gathering content online. Often my date will be back but will not review.

interested in reviews? I haven't had a review in over a year and my client list has continually grown. Many clients have expressed their lack of interest and/or time in reading or writing reviews.

I know many ladies who maintain a no review policy and do quite well. Considering the nature of this “hobby”, I personally prefer not to have a play by play of activities recorded on the web. I’ve been told reviews are inadmissible (if anything were to ever go wrong) but, I’m a safety girl so why take the chance. Just my opinion; f course, everyone is different ;)

Thanks so much for all the response. I agree with you all. In the beginning it was important to get reviews do guys know you're legit. And the longer I stayed in the hobby the less and less I wanted all my BCD details told. Each person I see is going to be different in how I am towards him and what we share. Thanks for all the input

If a provider is busy with her regulars, she is less likely to see new clients and this won't get new reviews.

between reviews doesn't mean that you didn't work. The provider very well may have appointments but the client's don't write about their time together and there is nothing to control that if that happens. Some of us have gaps between our reviews but the potential client should look on other sources like P411, etc to see that we are still active etc....judging a provider due to a gap is like judging a book by it's cover.

I do agree with that but I do find that some new clients don't understand the hobby compared to seasoned one do they will judge off one thing, like whether your face is shown or not. I'm not saying all new clients are at fault that are new to the hobby. But I do feel that is a bit of a risk we take when some of us providers are more private than others. Some guys like to know everything while others prefer the low key, quiet ones. That is the hobby 😎

Kori-good point another reason may be they took time off and reinvented themselves or maybe used a different name. I have seen this happen then under the new name they are selective on punters so this may cause a gap in reviews. They could have moved out of town for a period of time then went back to work. There are so many reasons you just never know what the reasons are.

ust like every provider screens differently, every hobbyist makes a determination on what information they require in order to feel comfortable in setting up an appointment.

I prefer to see providers who have current reviews from established hobbyists. If a lady has active, consistent reviews from 2011- June 2014 for example, and then nothing until one review pops up in July 2015, generally, I'd pass on seeing her. Sure in most cases there is a valid reason for her year gap between reviews, but usually I don't want to expend the energy to find out why. My comfort level is seeing ladies with consistent, current reviews.

Case in point: There is one provider whom I'd love to see, and she is very active in posting ads. However, her reviews stop in 2014. I keep waiting for a current review, but to date, nothing. Again, there may be a valid reason for this gap in reviews, but so far I've stuck to my philosophy/game plan. (So far the little head has cooperated with this game plan as well, but it's getting tougher each day)

I think only once I've seen a lady with a gap in her review history, and it was only after conversing with a well established hobbyist whom I trusted that I took the proverbial plunge. I guess there is an exception to every rule :

what happens if that Gap is because the ladies reviews started to get terrible and she had problems with clients then after a time changes her name and starts fresh with a new Name and new reviews? That could be a possible reason No? You just never know really thats why I have been "meditating" on this its one of the best topics in some time. You must rely on the board for good information.

I think it's more the quality of the reviews that are there rather than focusing on the gaps. There are a couple of providers that have gaps and then their "new" reviews are frequently by hobbyists with a single review or have only reviewed the same 2-3 girls as each other. I feel this kind of reviews are more detrimental than an actual gap.

Most of my clients are regulars, some of whom have reviewed me years ago, as well as guys who don't take part in hobby/review culture. I also am pretty low volume and never ask to be reviewed.

A solidly professional website, photos, blog + social media presence are enough enticement for many men (and couples) to book without recent - or any - reviews.

You contribute to many discussions on the boards, too.  For example, THIS ONE!

Those posts assure us that you're active and touring even though your most recent review is 2014.  And it gives us an idea, beyond reviews, of who you are and what you are like

Over time I've noticed I have found a nice handful of guys who see me regularly, and some write the review after the first date. Some don't write it until after the first few dates, or wait until after an extended date. Others ask for discounts and "hold" the review until you give in, so that may be why no review were written lol.

Some ladies take breaks, etc. One thing that has helped me when reviews hadn't popped up for a while is to continue a presence online to dissolve any worries of account hacks, etc.

Looking at some profiles, it seems to me, and I could be wrong, that over time as a lady has been in a certain area for a good chunk of time, the reviews slow down - again, which may be due to her building a base of returning gents.

There are guys who see, but don't review certain ladies for fear an ATF will find out he saw direct competition. Kind of sucks for them, but understandable if they want to keep the peace and have privacy.

But an internet presence really helps. I know a lot of people hate twitter, but it has been a great tool for me to keep people updated with any changes, selfies, (to confirm professional photos,) and to keep the conversation going.
