Does anyone use an app that competes with Burner they are happy with, which is it?

I have been using Burner for several months with no problems, however several weeks ago I set up new Burner number and it would not receive or send texts, emails to them did nothing. I tried to set up a new Burner number and it says serves are down or something.

Thanks in advance.

Okay I guess it depends on what you need the number for I never use the server burner I really just use Google Voice

Just create a burner google account, so you get email as well as a phone number, get Google Voice app and the Google Drive too to save all the photos you will receive in emails. Recently Google updated the voice app so now it send photos etc. with ease, MMS used to be a workaround with Google Voice before the latest update.

Used GV for years and all my hobbying has been done w/GV number w/dummy Google account.

Since they updated app, I've had all sorts of issues as I use google as my real account and now Google voice asks which account I wish to use or even automatically logs me in without asking for password (can't figure out where on phone it's saved). I also use Google drive and Googlemaps with my real google account but the only google account with my cell is dummy account. Google has definitely linked my hobby account to my real accounts but I would prefer to at least keep them separate on my phone.

Looking for other solutions at this point. I may have to get a burner phone to link to google voice but a second phone will definitely cause me issues.

I use Gmail and Chrome in real life and they connect to tons of stuff, too much actually.

I learned very early on that Google will try to link everything you do, even if you are logged into a different account.   I have employees that use office computers and Google sometime connects me their stuff.

I have accidentally sent emails from my hobby account when they were both on the same phone. Trust me, this is easy to do and very hard to explain.

Get an email account on some completely different service, I use Yahoo. Put all of your hobby stuff on a burner phone. Keep EVERYTHING off your real life phone.  One bad swipe or button click will create a world of troubles you don't need.

Yes, burners aren't cheap, but just one mistake and you'll wish you had spent the $$$.
